Valentons Canteloup Red

Grape variety : 65% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% cabernet Franc.

It is kept 18 months in vat (70%) and 6 months in oak barrels (30%).

Château Valentons Canteloup is a frequent medal winner in various competitions, Paris, Bordeaux, Vignerons Indépendants, Blaye-bourg, Macon and lately at the Los Angeles international Wine & Spirit Competition.

Supple and fruity while young, schrubs under trees, and prune ageing, he will go very well with poultry, white meat, grill and cheese.
